In our centenary year it’s going to be a very special beer festival and linking it with the Queens Platinum Jubilee we can announce the beer festival will be on the Jubilee weekend itself.
It will start on Friday 3rd June through to Sunday 5th June with a special Jubilee barbecue on Saturday afternoon the 5th of June. Expect the hall to be decked out in flags and bunting, reflecting the jubilee and no doubt there will be jubilee cocktails and jubilee beer for us all to drink and who knows a special rendition of the national anthem at the family dance on Saturday night.
Timings are Friday from around 7 pm to 12 am. Saturday 1 pm to 12 pm, with the bbq around 5 pm and live music from Paul Gibson. Sunday from 2 pm until the beer is gone. Barbeque on Saturday from 5pm.
As well as a range of beers there will be 9 different ciders and many fruit gins.
The beer festival is free!
Thanks to all our lovely sponsors, there is no charge to get in the beer festival. Including Saturday night when Paul Gibson is performing. Please support as many of our sponsors as you can.
With a special bank holiday weekend in place, it will be the perfect time to come and raise a glass for your Queen and meet with friends before going back to your street party, family party or whatever other party you have planned.
