It would seem January would be quiet…But there was one great fund raising event that took place on Saturday the 25th of January – a Charity Darts Day Raising funds for Kidney Care UK – and what a job they did. Dom Harrison a Mayfield man and keen darts player was doing the fundraising on behalf of Kidney Care UK.
The all-day event attracted 74 entries and with their supporters alongside them to cheer them on, then there were well over 120 people in the hall.
Each entrant paid £20 of which £10 went to the prize money pot and £10 straight to the charity. Alongside that there were other events and fund raising going on the day and when it was all over Dom had raised an amazing £1,750 for kidney care. Congratulations to all involved and to all who so generously donated.
