It’s finally here! We have details of the first Mayfield Beer Festival that will be held at the Memorial Hall on Friday June 10th and Saturday June 11th and admission is free!
As the cornerstone of the village’s celebrations for the Queen’s 90th Birthday weekend, this event raising funds for the hall is set to be a popular one. We have at least 15 beers and ciders from Burton Bridge Brewery and other local microbreweries giving a huge range of choice. With individual beers being sponsored by local businesses and also main sponsors for the whole event we want to see you joining in.

Our local MP Andrew Griffiths will be officially opening the festival on the Friday night. Andrew is Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Beer and has given his support both to the brewing industry and specifically to help the festival keep the Memorial Hall as a thriving part of our village.
Live Music and Barbeque
Friday night will feature folk singers and on Saturday we have a Barbecue in the early evening and a dance with a live band Straight Bends from about 9pm onwards.
