Reviews of the Mayfield Memorial Hall

We (two very thirsty and hungry cyclists from outside the area) really enjoyed the beers and burgers. Thank you so much to the man who bought us a couple of pints and procured two chairs for us. We are very grateful. My son lives in Kingsley. I shall make a note to visit him for your 2025 beer festival!

First time for myself and my partner we attended the festival an absolutely excellent community as well as an absolutely excellent festival great to see everyone just relaxed and having fun considering the way of the world today . We will definitely go again 👍🤩

One of the best venues for all sized parties in the area. Proper stage for shows, tribute acts and bands etc. Well stocked bar at reasonable prices.

We visited for a 60th. The bar had great wine, the hall had a great hall for music and a quieter room which was handy. Clean loos. Very friendly and committed team who had all the clearing up in hand and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We used Mayfield Memorial Hall for our wedding celebration in July 2022 and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The hall has been recently refurbished and looks fantastic, freshly painted walls, new curtains, refurbished toilets and a great kitchen we were able to use. We added some decorations from the beams, laid the tables and added flowers and WOW it looked absolutely brilliant.

The team that run the hall are second to none – huge huge thanks to everyone for making our day so special, and being so flexible to enable us to have the day we imagined.

Community hubs like the memorial hall are like gold-dust, and they are successful because of the brilliant people that keep them running. Wishing you all the best for a successful future!

We had the pleasure of playing at this cracking venue for a wedding this weekend. One of the nicest places we have been to. Everyone is lovely and Alf the caretaker is a great bloke.

Hopefully we will back at some point in the future!

It is a lovely village hall has a bar it is friendly have a country night on once a month which is really good

Went for a charity event, great little venue.

This is a great venue for family parties, live bands or community group fund raising events. Loads of room, the option of a bar and plenty of free parking.

We can’t thank them enough for making our daughter’s christening do so stress-free. The team made it so easy for us to enjoy the day without any of the hassle usually associated with hiring village halls. They couldn’t of been any more accommodating and didn’t push us around timings etc.

So many of our guests commented on what a lovely space it is with the lights, decor and facilities. A few have even said they’ll be using it for their own events now they’ve seen it!

The kids absolutely loved the bouncy castle too!
